The Rifle Club is the oldest Club in the school. The Club is affiliated with State and National small bore and full bore associations.

The sport instils self-confidence and self-esteem and all this, of course, carries over into a student's general school work and social behaviour. All students are eligible to join the Club, receiving classroom training and passing a written test and obtaining a Minor's Permit before being allowed to shoot. The Club represents the School in GPS competitions and sometimes visits other Clubs.

The School were GPS Premiers in 1998, 2001 and 2003 and were Champions in 2001 (winning all three matches). For further information visit the Rifle Club site.
