RugbyAs a GPS school, Sydney High is able to offer rugby as a winter sport. This is a wonderful opportunity for High students to be able to compete in one of the best schoolboy rugby competitions in the Southern Hemisphere. For details of weekly games, wet weather updates and any last minute game detail changes please refer to the school's home page where the calendar is regularly updated. Students and families should check this before games each Saturday morning for any last minute changes. While rugby is physically and mentally challenging, it is also very rewarding and enjoyable. It is one of the ultimate team sports promoting strong friendships and camaraderie, a healthy and balanced lifestyle, and the discipline necessary for good HSC study habits. The High Rugby program takes place at the home of High Rugby, The McKay Fields, Centennial Parklands, with training also at the Moore Park West fields located next to the School. ![]()
